How many miles on your 996

76,000 miles on my '99 C2 coupe. Original stock motor/RMS/IMS. Proactive replacement of AOS and MAF at 24,000 miles, Proactive replacement of coolant resevoir at 46,000 (seemed like a good idea). Only actual "failure" was the A/C compressor at 46,000 miles (which is when I took advantage of the opportunity to change out the coolant reservoir. The plastic was looking pretty yellow-ish).
Original owner drove the first 6,000 miles in the first 5 years. I bought the car in 2004 and have put the other 70,000 on it since, including a couple dozen DE's. It is my one and only daily driver. Just got back from a 4,000 mile road trip.
This car has never seen the inside of a garage. Hooters Girl Choice 2010 PCA concours.

thanks everyone for the data. I bought mine with 33K on it, and it's just about to go over 40K. I will do the IMS work when I do the clutch, whenever that happens. Mine is a 2003 C2 and I was able to get a 5 year warentee on it so if the IMS goes before the clutch I should be OK.
For me, I worried about IMS more BEFORE I purchased the car, now that i have it I just drive it a lot and keep it over maintained, and plan to keep that up. I just wanted to see if it was reasonable to expect 200K + miles from it if I maintain it, which it does sound possible. I LOVE the car much more than I thought I would.

105,000 miles on my C4S. It runs great. It has a few rattles and squeaks, but nothing you shouldn't expect in a car that's nearly 10 years old.

almost at 90k on my 2002 c2
not much had to be fixed
RMS issue early
just had to do the coolant expansion tank
I do oil changes at 5k been using redline oil
all scheduled maintenance done early
many sets of tires
and thats it...
i think my clutch assist spring is broken but I'm not sad about that
