I did search for that piece number on ebay, and there is one, used, from dismantler in LA area, for $150. Another one for 740 obo. Try nrauto as well.

I'd try to get a used one and install yourself.

Google the part #, looks like it can be had for under 700, a bargain.

I'll save you some searching since I was just looking for this part. You can find it for $550 new from a few online sources:

http://www.carpartswarehouse.com/parts/49-40018_.html

Or you can go used with ebay. I just ordered one from ebay last Friday. The same seller had other pumps for sale so I'll let you know how it turns out and if the part is good. 30 day refund policy so I feel reasonable safe.

You can get the same part as an Audi or VW part for much less. The same secondary air pump is used on just about every car in the VW stable (from Bugatti to Polo), and Porsche as well.

Why not just remove it? If its only for starting, you wouldn't need it for WA emissions. Your car is fat enough :-). Dump all that crap

Thank you for all the part recommendations.

BJ- According to Barrier, that pump is needed to get the correct temp to the cats.
