When making a "abrupt" move?

The PSM/ABS kicked off when I down shifted 2 gears (tip) and rapidly accelerated at highway speed the other day.

I stopped for gas, restarted and all was back to normal.

First time I have experienced it turning itself off.

No, but I once had a problem when a rear wheel speed sensor died on my '99 C4.

I was able to look at the values in real time with the durametric and figure out which one was dead.

happened to me on the highway as well.. they both just kicked on for the remainder of the drive home , next time i started it they were both off. Although soon after i had problems with my MAF, which was triggering CEL, ABS, PSM lights. replaced it, and all was good

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Interesting.

Anyone ever try just cleaning the MAF? I did also get an 1128 code.

I suppose it might be time, the car has 123k on it.

I had the same senario. Heavy acceleration PSM/ABS lights came on. I did a search and came up with a bad MAF. Cleaned it twice and was fixed temporarily(few weeks) Ordered a new one(pelican) installed it and haven't had problem return again(several years).

Brake switch is another gremlin that does the PSM/ABS intermittent.
