hmmmm - that would explain why he didn't mention them!

thought for sure this was the damper - now have to swap my pads this weekend to remember what they look like. Agree it's a superb video.

I also followed vans video.. My dampers were stuck in the caliper .. Not on the pads .. Seemed like no adehsive on old pads. I left the dampers in there, put anti-squeel on new pads (van doesn't show that ?) ..and reassembled. So far totally quiet and seems good. One piston seemed to be stuck and took quite a bit of force to push back into caliper with pry bar .. Is that normal ?
