1:46 at Laguna, and I'm sure another second or so is on the table. For comparison sake, I've heard a GT3 hovers in the 1:40 range. Spec 996 is at 1:39 but that is a race car on slicks, so I gather I'm doing well.

The car weighed in at 3602 lbs with 1/4 tank gas, no spare or tools.

GT3 sways? What other suspension mods? I'm considering as well, already have H&R coil overs.

Sounds like fun! Any video? I've always wanted to hit Lagauna. Maybe one day when my ship comes in

Also, you should definitely hook up with some of our other forum members (if you haven't) to give you some pointers and/or just hang out at the track. JR runs a Spec996 @ around 1:35 and there are a few GT3 guys running 1:37s as well. They hang out in the GT3 and racing forum.

3600# seems in the ballpark for a C4S. A stock GT3 weighs around 3400 with driver and a full tank of gas. C4S is 4 wheel drive, so add a few more pounds.

I have PSS10s but the sways are by far the 'cheapest' mod to get the car into somewhat neutral handling neighborhood. It pushes quite a bit otherwise.

I think JRs 996 is quite a bit worked over. My friend Cherniak (#522) is at 29xx lbs or so and runs 1:39s

3602, that's a beast. That with or without driver?

I can't see my self saving a few seconds off with just gt3 bars. Not at my track.

These guys might chime in, so I don't want to speak for them, but I think JR has run both GT3 and MSR. I think JC only runs GT4, but I don't know if he ever ran MSR. Not sure how rules changes affected laptimes or classification.

Also, I'm sure you know these guys ran last weekend and JR's fast laps were around 1:37 and JC's were around 1:39 (at least from the results I saw). But last year, JC was running low 1:38s and low JR 1:35s.

Also, you can check out some POC time trials records online (well, from 2009 anyway)
GT4 = 1:36.
GT3 = 1:38.
MSR = 1:38.
SpecBoxster (BSR) = ~1:42.

Of course, these don't necessarily reflect the same/fastest times in race/quali, but they should be a data point for comparison.
