I like #2 but if I didn't know the background behind why you're changing them up, I'd look at the trim around the light and think, "Why did he do that?"...which is why I went with #1. 
The only problem with #1 is that you won't have a real back-up light if you tint the tops red, too.
Maybe you should just paint your whole car red...naaaah.

I figured black is better than previous red and white Porsches... guess not
Mind ya i know I have a "look" which makes the cops salivate...

you bet man, I have watched you do some some things I didnt think would work out and you pull it off in a cool way, your car is so lucky to have you as an owner - which ever you do, i am sure the results will be complimentary to the rest of your work - awesome as always!

progression is good!
Though I like tails as well....
I dont think you cant go wrong with any of the options, they all look good.... But if I had to do it, It would be option 2 with dark clear sidemarkers.
