Default Aerokit / taco wing on a C4S?

Driving around town today, I stopped at a light when another 996 pulled up next to me - looked just like my car (a 2003 C4S) but something didn't look right... I let him pull ahead and was shocked to see that it was a C4S - but with some kind of aerokit and a taco wing!!

I'll be honest, it didn't look right to me, like seeing a full beard on a hot chick in a bikini (not that I've ever seen this, just saying).

Well, this is my car and it came with this from the factory. The C4S has the same aerokit as the turbo as far as I can tell. It's not a taco wing per se though, but it's the c4s aerokit .

Thanks and that is indeed true.

To get a proper taco wing onto a c4s I guess you need to go aftermarket or angle grinder.....

I think the OEM C4S Aero kit is pretty rare. I've never seen one in person.

Hi Nyegaard - that does look very nice, much better than the one I saw. Do you happen to know what the factory option code on that is?

These are kind of rare, I've never seen one myself until I found this for sale .

I think the option code is IXAF, aerokit turbo.

Nyegaard you have the best looking C4S I've ever seen (my opinion of course). I didn't know that there was a factory aero wing for our cars but it looks really kick *** on yours. Now I just need to find the part number for it

What suspension are you running by the way?

I think if you look through their web site you will find one that fits.

wow I really really like that one!!
Wish I would've know about it before putting this pain in the @ss turbo decklid with over-sized CF wing... don't get me wrong I love the way my ride looks with it but I would have gone with your wing instead!

Very nice!

Hehe thanks .

The picture is from the seller, I picked up the car just a month ago now, and it's not 100% accurate compared to how she is today.

The suspension has been changed since then, now it's running with H&R coilovers so it's a whee bit lower then the pictures show.

The C4S with aero kit is not a very common sight. I kind of like it
