Does anyone have an extra brass nut within the rubber isolater, that helps attach the plastic lining (that covers the brake booster) under the trunk to the body?. The threads on mine are all messed up and I cannot find the part number for this piece. Thanks!

I will try to snap a pic for you later this week when I have the car out. It is just a little brass nut that sits in a rubber grommet. The one torx bolt that holds down the plastic screws into this nut.

I think this is the part you are talking about. They are all over the car. What actually happens is the nut separates from the rubber over time or from over tightening, making it seem like it is stripped.

$4.20 MSRP at your local Porsche dealer is probably your cheapest option since you don't have to pay to ship it (although you can get it online elsewhere for around $2.50).

It's called a well nut, sold in metric and USS/SAE sizes. Home Depot, Lowe's most all local fastener, nut and bolt, local hardware stores, many auto parts stores will stock them. Usually less than a $1 to slightly over oe whatever the market will bear. I've bought and used them for decades.
