Default FS: 996/997 Dassport Weekender Roll Bar and Brey Krause Seat Braces

Selling for a friend who is crazy about safety and used these for DEs before moving to a fully race prepped 944.

Best you can get. No mods required. Was easy for him to take in and out for a weekend. Minimal wear and tear, no major scratches.

Dassport weekender new is $1295. Fits '98 to '11
Seat braces new are $152 each and are adjustable in the roll cage.

Can read about them here:
Truly Bolt In Roll Bars - No Modifications - DAS Sport - Roll Bars & Cages for Porsches
Brey-Krause R-9020 Competition Seat Brace for One-Piece Racing Seats

$1600 Value, asking $700.

PM me to discuss and to arrange shipping... I believe my local UPS can handle it. Shipping from 55901 zip code. If you know a better way, I'm all ears.

The seat braces bolt into the cage and press up against the back of the seat. If you have stock 2 piece seats (ones that fold up for getting into the back seat, rather than a 1 piece racing seat) its a safety feature in case the hinges fail in an accident.

They're 152 new (http://store.cdoc.com/breykrauseraceseatbackbrace.aspx)
I'd let someone have them for $65, plus whatever it costs to box and ship them.

Note, you need to order the brackets to mount them to the cage. You can see the weld on brackets are mounted on the cage in the picture at the top of the page.

Ahhh... that's the tricky part, getting the brackets seperately... otherwise I would've taken them.

Indeed. unfortunately the original owner's brackets are welded to the cage. You can google:
R-9021 Bolt On Adjustable Mounting Bracket - the adjustable ones are expensive.
R-9022 Weld-On Bracket for R-9020 Seat Brace - the weld on ones are cheaper.

It's not a very intricate pattern. If you have a shop you could whip something up pretty easily.
