Default Anyone with Motor Mounts for sale?

I think one of my engine mounts is shot. Does anyone have a pair of stock or aftermarket mounts for sale? Thanks!

Just replaced mine a couple of weeks ago. Save yourself some hassle and purchase new nuts for the bottom stud.

sent you a PM -- I put on RS solid mounts and have my used stock ones that you can have (50,000 miles) if you wish.

How does one know when the motor mounts need to be replaced?

Leaks of the hydraulic fluid in them is the easiest way to tell. Otherwise, if you have excessive vibration or difficult shifting they may be associated with broken mounts.

Question

The reason I asked is after buying 2 new rear PS2 for my 996 the rear end seems to sway a a little more than before.....the tires are close to maximum pressure so I'm wondering if the stock motor mounts need to be replaced....

OK so curious minds want to know, what mounts are you using in your cars? I ask because I have a pair of black Wevo's sitting here but Dan thinks they'll set off the knock sensors. He tired a set on a 3.6 Boxster he built and on the dyno he changed them back to OEM and gained 14whp. He thinks the knock sensors pulled timing....

Haven't we had this conversation before ?
Either way, I agree with Dan, in not using the Wevo's or other solids. I have seen the same thing where in some cars the knock sensor cut back the timing and the car actually made less hp. Changed mounts and then hp was back up. What I found weird was that this only happens in certain cars. The only thing I can think of why some, but not all, is that it could be exhaust frequency, or fuel change, or even a weak knock sensor causing it to come into play on some cars vs others, with the tipping point being that with the solid mounts ALL the vibrations get transferred causing the timing reduction. Make sense ?

Anyway, to answer your question, I use, and recommend the stock Porsche solid rubber RS mounts.
I also must say that I do this for the issues of vibration as much as anything else. While I do regularly nut and bolt the cars (CUP Cars, etc) with the solid mounts it is something that MUST be done more religiously due to the solid mounts vibrating more loose. While with the RS mounts it's not as bad.

I know I leave a slight amount of performance on the table by not using the solid ones but I feel it is a worthy trade off, and in some instances I could actually be getting more performance.
