Default Clutch Pedal height not even with Brake pedal?

Is it normal that the clutch pedal is slightly raised? I always thought that both clutch and brake pedal are supposed to be even.

I find my left leg is always up a little higher waiting to push the clutch...

More important is to have the brake and throttle positioned for proper heel-toe braking while shifting.
My brake and clutch pedals line up.

My clutch pedal is also higher. Could it be a worn helper spring?

Brake and throttle are perfect.

But my clutch seems slightly raised up.. Muscle reflex wise, I don't like how I have to raise my left foot a little higher for the clutch.

Zookie, Why did you replace it? It seems that people like it gone for good!

My cruise control still works perfectly, and my clutch always felt the same so if it is in fact broken, I wonder how soft it will feel with a new one...

I dont know why people take it out My Spring was Broken in 3 Peices. The Pedal felt Limp, Displaced, Loose and Dissconnected. After Putting in the New Unit the Pedal Felt like New Clutch Kit just went it, Smooth, Connected Feel and not Weird to Press In.

I thought my Clutch was going but it was just the Spring that made my Driving Experiance not soo good untill the new Spring went it

I think mine was Broken for Years

I did the Home Depot Spring mod. Takes all the looseness out of the pedal, but the feel is so much better with the lighter spring.

My clutch is slightly (1/4") higher than the brake even with the spring.

+1 on a new helper spring. It makes the clutch too soft right after installment but it feels perfect after broken in in a few days. Mine has been weak for a long time but I didn't know at the time and the clutch always felt heavy and not smooth. One day it just snapped with a bang.

Thanks all. I read that super long thread on this subject before, I just didn't know if the pedal was higher due to it being broken or not. I will have to fool around with no spring, and the home depot spring and see which one I like.

I'm not even sure if mine is broken or not right now.

my pedal was higher due to broken spring because the Clutch Plate is Pulling/Pushing the Pedal. Reason why the Clutch Helper Spring is there to make the Pedal work in the Oposite Direction.
