Need some help please. code P1226
Has anyone ever had a code of P1266. I know what the code means but I need help in finding out how to fix the car. The car is a 1999 C4 I got a CEL and loss of power at elevation. If I stop and restart the car it drives just fine. Also at lower elevation the car runs great. Could this be a simple MAF fix? Has anyone else ran into this problem? The road to and from the house is a dirt road.
The car is not mine and I am posting on here to help out an older guy .... He is in his 80's! He use to have a 356 that he pick up from the factory back in the day. How cool is that!
