Default Help removing trim.

How do remove these trim pieces? I received aluminum painted ones for fathers day.

I did mine, but it was a long process. It was doable without breaking the trim pieces off.

I had to buy a small ratchet that accepts torx bits in order to get behind the dash with limited space.

You have to remove many parts to get to them. The back of the trim pieces have small torx screws. You remove both side vents, the instrument cluster and loosen the U-shape bracket around the steering wheel, the instrument panel piece with the buttons that surround the center vent, and the glove box.

The glove box has some hidden, difficult to reach torx screws. Take your time! If it doesn't come off, you probably have one or two left.

Go to renntech.org and register, then follow the DIY there. I did it a few years ago and posted pics. Pretty straight forward. http://www.renntech.org/forums/topic...154#entry72154
