Transmission Mount
I've finally got to taking the transmission out and pressing the mount out of it.
A pictures worth a thousand words so here you go. I had tried to fill the mount with silicon and when that didn't seem to help I put in Polyurethane (construction Adhesive)... Now that the mount is out notice how it's deformed and permanently pushed up with a larger gap on the bottom. I'm hoping this will be the end of my clunk! Still waiting on the IMS bearing and AOS... I'll post a couple photo's of my clutch too....

I actually used your transmission posting as the inspiration to do my Transmission mount. I was going to use the jack and straps idea but a friend let me use his pipe bender with a small bottle jack. I showed him your write up and it all made sense to him after that and he was able to get the sizes for the ram and blocking.

There is a TSB 1551 IIRC that says it depends on when your engine was made (serial number). Basically in Aug 2000 they started making a different style paddle and chain that required a different (new) IMS tensioner.
If your car has the older style paddle and chain you still need to use the old style tensioner.
Since my car is a 99, I ordered the old style. But then it got strange. The factory very recently (probably within the last few weeks) superseded the old style with a new part number - which no one can find any info about anywhere. So I'll know more when it shows up on my doorstep next week.
I'm also swapping the lifters, pads, and cam to cam chains.
