Default Another clean car

You'd think we just sit around and detail our cars... so at least they're clean when the IMS fails.

I gave mine the "full monty" saturday. It looks like a million bucks! Did the clay bar, rubbing compound and polish. I had a hard time capturing the 914's reflection with the camera, but I tried.

My whole goal was to make it as shiny as yours, Scott.

I'm looking forward to some good autocross competition!

Good eyes, Ed!

Even heated with waste oil! I have a Bridgeport mill, too, but that's out of the picture.

You know, I don't have a picture of the scale car collection - I'll have to take one. What I really have to do is unpack the rest of it... I have a lot more, but they got boxed up when I moved (ahem... 6 years ago!). Another summer project...

LOL @ six years.... I get it though, its tough!

nice to have a little mill and lathe, I can use mine at work but sometimes I need it NOW or need to "fit" something up.. that's when its a pain running back and forth. For me its a little too much like bringing work home so I opted to not have anything in the garage....that and nothing else would fit!!!

I totally understand - I try to keep phones, computers and incompetent IT staff out of my garage.

I have to thank a good friend for the tire machines - he used to have them in a shop, but due to a career change, need a place for "long term storage".
