What could be the symptom of a bad front wishbone control arm

More info would be helpful. What symptoms are you having? Have you hit something recently? Changed wheel/tire sizes? etc.

A damaged control arm would imply an impact of some sort. You might check the shocks, bushings, alignment, tire pressure, etc. Start simple and go from there.
