I'm also very sorry for your situation; it's one we all fear. My understanding is that this sort of thing could happen to anyone, LNE upgrade or no. I hope you have a warranty and or the fix is less involved than it first appears. Best of luck.

That picture really angers me.
That just simply shouldn't happen to any $80K car at any point in its life cycle ... and the fact that it has happened to so many with little or no broad brand/reputation impact on Porsche is a miracle.
You have to hand it to them. They successfully ignored the problem away. Amazing in this day and age that this can happen.
