Default Durametric - Instrument Cluster Actual Values

I'm troubleshooting a fuel gauge issue here on my '02 C2. The gauge usually reads full (or about 3/4 full, depending on its mood), and doesn't budge.

I figure if I connect the Durametric and read the actual value from the instrument cluster (for the fuel level), it should give me a good indication of whether or not the problem lies with gauge or level sensor. Unfortunately, the actual values are not displaying for any of the cluster components (they all read zero).

Does this work for anyone else? (Software version 6). The actual values for engine sensors are working fine.

Thanks,
