Default Derriere cleaning

Nearly 2 hours just to do the rear bumper, but it's beautiful. I like to dedicate extra time to the front and rear bumpers twice per year since they take the brunt of the road grime.

Here's what I did in the following order: citrus degreaser spray, soap & water wash, clay bar, Griot's machine polish 2, machine polish 3, pre-wax cleanser, then 2 coats of Collinite wax. Any advice on my process please share.

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it super reflective and slippery.

Not sure why these pictures loaded sideways.

So polishes are OK on the bumper surfaces? I was wondering about that.

Sure, it's the clear coat to be polished. I've never had an issue on bumpers on any of my cars. Polish away!

You will wonder why you waited so long. Doing it by hand takes SO much more effort and the results are better with the DA orbital.

I agree... my pride in hand polishing was replaced with a Griot's orbital a couple years ago and my old bones and sore fingers dont regret it one bit.....

I know. It will cut down on time too. This will be my last year doing a full wax by hand..

Waxing by hand is not too bad but polishing by hand is no fun.
