As for my aero it's sitting waiting to be washed - it will be so nice to have my garage and tools back.... Much as it's nice to be able to drive it most of the year, it did lose it's garage queen status for a while. Once we get everything unpacked I'll give it a good detailing to make up for 7 months of being a daily driver.

The real estate market totally sucks... Brutally so. The bigger kicker is that the mortgage companies make life as difficult as possible. We have near perfect credit scores and enough liquid assets to buy the house outright and they still made life hell. Bank of America were so incompetent throughout the process that we'll be closing our accounts with them once were done with the move.... I hope we don't have to move again soon.
So where is beech Mtn?

Hey, I've loved every minute of it, but I have to say that I hate to see clocking up the miles and I do feel bad about not being able to give the regular detailing jobs to keep it looking spiffy... I'll have it back to normal soon and Phil will be proud of me again.

Looking at the pics in the ad:
1) in the movie, once the 996 is on the street and turning, it looks like a CAB with a hardtop! (look at the rear roofline/rear window contours)
2) Lets see.. "lease" a cab for non stunts.. couple hundred bucks.. Or buy a then new 996 for $75-90K. I agree that it was certainly cheaper to buy a $10K SC and spend another $10-20 making it look "good enough" for a few takes of a crash scene than waste money on a real one.
