You guys are behind the curve - I've already done 3 DEs and one race!

Glad to see you're hooked, Roadsession!

Was that in your cab? Brings back memories of my roadracing days, 8 years hundreds of events, motorcycles, Supersport, Superbike, Formula.

Looks like he had motor on you but you were braking later, you'd nearly catch him in the turns.

Hahah! Yes there's a very controversial topic about letting Cayennes on the track: https://rennlist.com/forums/autocros...autocross.html and here: https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...the-track.html

I'm too much of a newb to weigh in - BUT you'll see in the video just before I pass the Cayenne that my instructor is reminding me NOT to follow him or get distracted by him. The thing is massive, blocked my view and was distracting...

Yes - in my cab...

That 911 was fast on the straights - but after lap 7 he had to give it up to the 996! You'll see at 2:51 on the video he goes wide on that turn - and that was just enough for him to have to give up that lead....

I thought he was all over the place, you did well not to follow him too

Nice vid!!! It was a hoot to see the Cayenne out there... I had always wanted to take my Cayenne turbo to the track but never did. I think it would have done pretty well for an SUV, especially as an SharkWerks tuned Turbo!
