Default Teach one thing

Here's a question: if you had to teach one thing to a new 996 owner (like me), and one thing only, what would it be?

Besides That's clear.

No matter what condition the car is in or the dealer history or the great PPI, your purchase budget should include $5000 in the bank for the first year.
For unplanned, unexpected, or unnecessary (Mods that is) expenses that you are likely to encounter. These are wonderful high performance AutoBahn cruisers but they are still 6 to 12 year old cars. Murphy's Law... if something can go wrong - it will - (just wait an see...)

These cars are very sensitive to tire pressure and alignment.

Don't get wound too tightly about everything you read on the internet. Drive your car and enjoy it.

If you haven't taken the car to a DE event you don't fully appreciate it yet...

Don't let the car be a garage queen and driver her like you stole it!
