I am new to the forum with only having the car for about a month and already looking at changing the sound. Do you have a sound clip, price or even a website to purchase.

THANKS Darin for making this affordable mod available to us!

**WILL MAKE A NICE YOUTUBE VID OF THE SOUND LATER ON***
I'm glad you like them! Looking forward to your video.

I hate to say it, but Darin Fister is not charging enough for these - they are worth much more!
Hmmm....

Still have 2 years on b2b warranty.

before and after youtube videos are AWESOME for this exhaust
It will do nothing to harm your car in any way. I know what you are saying though, these warranty companies look for any reason not to honor their agreements.

This is the mod I do on almost all 996/997s. I initially called it "Stage II" because I did offer a quiter mod initially. The Stage II is now the Fister mod, so all the reviews and videos you see of "Fister" mufflers are of this mod (formerly known as Fister Stage II.)

It should be a highlight for you when you get your right foot into the new sound of FisterD.

Sounds like a no-brainer. Good step for cars without PSE. Any performance improvement or just more smiles/mile?

Unless I missed it, I didn't see a digital recording of a Fister D, but I'm not on my regular computer. Can someone describe the sound - as compared to the baseline muffler?

Can't wait to get mine in. I ordered them back in January and am waiting on Darin to get some returned OEM for the mod. I'll post something once I'm in business.

Can't wait.....

There are actually plenty of videos on YouTube. This is one of the best, with before and after:

I recently drove an '02 cab with Fisters. Sound was exactly what I want - no droning at highway speeds with a more aggressive sound on acceleration and then a real deep growl over 4K RPM.

Anybody know how it compares to Afterhours' "girlfriend approved" model, both in terms of sound and power output? I'm online at 35K feet, so please don't zing me for not searching archive. Connection just ain't that fast. ;-)
