Default Just bought a SPARCO Harness bar and 4 point SPARCO belts...fun fun fun

Got a good deal on a used set of SPARCO belts and bar. I am sure they will work great for SCCA autocross. Right now I have a CG lock for the drivers seat that works well for spirited street driving. I will be using the OEM belts for daily driver use and the SPARCO belts for track.

I also took a risk and bought some LED smoke tail lights. Hope they work out well and do not arrive broken. After that.....I think I am done, but said that before.

Did order some aluminum track floor mats also....they should work great for bad weather as well.

Will take pictures when I get all the parts installed. Next up, fuel filter change, oil change in about 2K miles, and spark plug change.

Have to change out the brake fluid as well.

Pete:
I am on the hunt! Just missed (maybe.....???) a set of brand new PSS9's. But now I have done more research and maybe not as great (for track) as I thought....... watchin' and waitin' hoping to pounce. Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread. Believe me, all to familiar with the double black diamonds slope......

More safety gear is always good, however....if you plan on doing a PCA event (DE), verify with the group running the event that they will allow a 4-pt harness; I don't think our region allows them.

LOL Country911...still getting into autox. Really getting excited. I used to be a muscle car 1/4 drag racer. I have seen some Miata's and Honda's out here that can humble a Porsche. I just need to get the driving skills for autoX with practice.

Right now I am just looking at Solo autocross with the SCCA. The 4 point harness bar and 2 belts came as a good deal to me. Got my Snell approved helmet..more than what I need. For street use, my fire extinguisher is installed on the middle hump where the rear seats were. Did not want the under seat mount.

I will be an intro to autoX. Watched it for 15 years. Now...my time. I do know I will be humbled though. All about skill. 1/4 mile in my LSX engine days was easy...just a good start and launch...it was over. Also, my C2 has no traction control....but...I like it that way.
