Another Suspension Question - C2 Cab
I've read about as many posts as I can to a point where I might be thoroughly confused now I'm going for a new suspension for my 2002 C2 Cab and just when I thought I'd settled on the RoW M030, I decided that was just an interim, small change that I should pass on. I think I like everything I'm reading about handling and definitely want a bit more lowering that the X74 has to offer so I'm now settling on the X74. Problem now is it looks like the X74 is not offered for Cabs. What's the story here? I see posts about Cabs with X74 but also see where X74 is not offered for the Cab.
As I said, I'm now thoroughly confused. The only good part is I'm delaying forking over another couple grand but my mod-meter is running on low and I need to do something soon before I start experiencing symptoms of mod withdrawl. Please answer before I have to begin attending 12-step for modding.

I have the same car. H&R makes cab springs and they aren't as bad as people make them out to be. Wheel gap is perfect but they are as bouncy as stock. It's just a cosmetic upgrade IMHO. My plan is to upgrade to a proper set of pss9s when I blow out my stock shocks or find a good used set.

The X74 works on the Cab no problem. I sold mine to someone who installed it on his Cab and loved it. Here is another:

I was going through the same thing you are and ended up with the RoW M030 and couldn't be happier for a primarily street driven 996 with 2-3 DEs per year. The X74 is fine for the cab even though it's not listed specifically for a cab.
The main deal breaker for me is the X74 is lower than I wanted. The RoW dropped just enough to take out the bad gap and firmed it up big time...very different than stock. The only downside it's a bit harsh over bad roads. Good luck with your decision.

Call Sunset and tell them you want X74 on your Cab....I bet they know how
as for the ROW (sorry James) I agree.... just an interim step
As for all the "harsh ride" posts from people who dont have "more cowbell" I just put about the max size torsion bars (read springs) in the 3.2 and can tell you - yup... its a little harsh on a few spots of very rough road, but 98% or more of the road its AMAZING! Glad I went with MORE
