hahhaa - RE vids....

did I say "first track day of the year" - lets see, I set the camera up and somehow changed a setting to record 3 minutes.... I have 4 videos thas cover start up to the enterence to the track

packed that heavy thing around for NOTHING!!

EDIT: I found the video.... I do have some, let me chop it up a bit and I will post it later... pretty happy

in the meantime, this was on the camera too... hahaha @ eyes in mirror....this is the drive to work - told you those seats fit !

I do love the go-pro, but the interface is a bit raw. They should of put a OSX in there.

Get the LCD-Pak for the GoPro HD. It makes it as easy as a regular point and shoot camera.

Ed, how was that mounted, suction cup on the rear glass.... I like the 180deg view. Seats looking good.

yes - exactly

trouble is that with the dark interior the apature opens up and all exterior light gets overexposed

Yeah, I got the same problem in my 996 with black leather interior. Especially the last time I was out, at a winter track day. The outside was mostly white with a mostly black interior. Not ideal conditions... The cam is fun though and cheap enough to dare mount on extreme positions on the car:

Haven't had the time to compile the various angles into a finished video yet unfortunately.

you can be driving in a shaded road, then when you hit some sun spots.... the exposure goes bad. Def needs a quicker exposure.... but, this problem is the same with most vid cam. Does it a great job for what it is.
