Default You guys are EVIL forum people

As you guys know I bought my 2002 P-car about three weeks ago. I have done the Cassette shelve remove and added the shelve and did the garage door mod.

You guys are EVIL, Evil I tell you! I have to save my pennies to get the mods I want. I am a poor man trying to get the things I want in life.

Now I am looking at the Fister cans and looking at getting a Air Intake Hose Kit. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsc...Q5fAccessories

Now I have been reading the 996 forums - "what gear" I had to play / learn since I was driving really conservative not getting her to 4000 -5000 RPM before shifting. Now I have been trying to keep her happy but I know she will eat I should say engulf gas (more money). She wants to run! Well I tell my wife that, I don't think the wife believes me. The wife still hasnt took her out yet. I guess that is good. LOL

OK so is the Air Intake Hose Kit something that is really worth it? I wont ask about the Cans because I know that answer.
Almost forgot I have to get rid of the pumpkins also. More money.... Geeeesh!

Thanks

Your friendly neighborhood copper. I don't work the streets so don't worry about me unless I am in the P-Car!

You better take the wife out. You'll have a lot more money for mods if you avoid the divorce.

After a while, your wife will stop asking questions when things start showing up at your door, like steering wheels, mufflers, exhaust tips, wheels and tires, etc. Your only risk might be that some of your modding enthusiasm spreads. After seeing the new double DIN nav system that I installed in the C4S, my wife now wants one in the Cayenne.

It is an addicting thing, that's for sure. I haven't even installed my new exhaust tips yet, and I keep finding myself looking at the ROTtec Carbon website looking at the carbon fiber aero front lip splitter. I'm trying to resist, but I know it's only a matter of time...

How does that go????? "Welcome" said the spiders into the tablged web........ Wait to take the wife out until the Fisters are in/on. She probably won't appreciate the difference,, but you'll be smiling. As for the rest of the "stuff", I suggest small packages, shipping to you at locations other than the house, or make sure you open quickly and dispose of the box(es) in short time. As for the big stuff, large deliveries, your on your own....GL and enjoy!

+1 "its only a matter of time".......LOL, so true, so very true......How many times have I said, "just this, blah, blah, blah", and I'm all set..... then its always something else....and she rolls her eyes......you just learn to live with it.

Everything that arrives for my car are "old car maintenance" items. It's a 99 so that helps. Well, it was a hard sell on the LED tail lights but it worked out.

I mysteriously started receiving small packages on almost a daily basis for the first month or so after I bought my C2. CD holder delete shelf, cigarette lighter, owners manual, touch-up paint, Brake light, Aluminum cluster rings, clear side markers, car cover, various interior pieces, iPod Touch, iPod cable, and a center console. I think the car is possessed and has access to the Internet.

And the bank account!

OK I understand. The mod monster has taken me over!

What about the air intake hose? Is it worth the money?

Where can I get a cd holder delete shelf? I really need a place for my sun glasses and cell phone.

I did accidentally discover the storage compartments in the doors the other day when I was detailing it. Didnt know they were there That was kind of cool.

There are two different shelves - you want the upper one to replace the CD Holder.
