I'm in the process of deciding how I want to upgrade my interior.
Here are pictures of the parts that I am deciding what to do with.
I have an 02 cab with black interior. Black exterior.
This is what I'm thinking:
-1, 2 arctic silver (L92T)
-3, 4, 5, 8, 9 gloss black. match exterior (L041)
-6 and 7 recondition "leather" and re-dye.
-white gauges with arctic silver rings
I already have a paint guy.
I would love to do my vents arctic silver but I would also need to do #4 for it to look right. I'm not sure if that would be too much silver.
I'm open to ideas and would love people to post pictures of modified black interiors. Can anyone help me out with suggestions/pictures?
Thanks.

# 8 should be Arctic Silver for the contrast and #2 should be Black (too much silver = overwhelming) with a Arctic Silver ash tray delete to tie it together IMHO.

Too much can kill what you are going for. Here is my interior...I would like the radio trim silver, but will wait...

Here is the interior on my last car....I think I overdid it...and cost quite a bit. I am keeping it simple now on the Porsche.

Just posting my pics for reference. Again....it is all what you want to do. Some said my BMW interior was overkill....but I liked it.
Hope this helps.

Highlights and accents aren't my thing , I like Carc's 911 above. But I'd even make the console black and leave the singular highlight the business end of the gauge package (looks great by the way). If I wanted another 'highlight' it would probably be a nicely done Audio/Nav package.

I think you're on the right track. Some good accents without making look gaudy. Too much silver can look out of place, but I think having it flow up from through the center should look good with the gloss black. My only negative comment is in regard to the white gauge faces. Just not my style. A little too "boy racer".

The purpose of the gloss black is to get rid of the plastic feel. It's basically a poor man's carbon fiber.
Here is the pic for your amusement.

Well since you are talking about Silver interior treatments I may as well show what my 2000 C4 "Millennium" 996 came with. The original owner (I assume) wanted to create his own Special Millennium 996 ( this car has a build date of 012000 ) - but perhaps wanted a Silver C4. So he added TechArt Coil-overs and Headers + Exhaust and the Silver interior as you see it. I have not been able to find the source for these parts. They may have been TechArt items then but not in the catalog now. The Silver Porsche Logo in the steering wheel and the Silver Gauges are Porsche Items on the option doc, along with a Full Black Leather interior. I like it and I am sure what ever you do you will enjoy the brightened up silver on black look.
