Hi guys,

I have already got Fabspeed mufflers installed and was considering putting on Fabspeed's highflow cats but after reading up, the Fabspeed combo actually produces more drone together. I was wondering if Fabspeed mufflers and FVD cats would "solve" that problem. Any ideas?

I think drone is a function of the exhaust and not the cats you use... if the exhaust drones even a little and you do not hear it (some people do and some don't) and if you put on 100/200 cell cats it is like increasing the volume and tone and it will definitely come out...

I'm putting on 100 cell FVD cats on my PSE in a months time... the PSE has no drone whatsoever so I don't expect any drone even with the cats... just more volume from that beautiful sounding PSE... I'll let you know how it goes after the install..

 

Yea ... i was thinking that if i change another part of the exhaust it would affect the exhaust flow and thus removing drone ... sigh
