Apparently my car had been flashed a few years ago with the EVOMS tune. Is there a way to revert back to stock settings? I know in previous Audi's I have owned that were GIAC chipped I could switch tunes with my laptop.

The reason I ask is because my car has been idling funny lately (after muffler bypass pipes) and I would like to eliminate the possiblity that the EVOMS tune is a culprit. BTW: It's only a 100-200rpm fluctuation.

 

Contact EVOMS... but i highly doubt the ECU Tune has anything to do with your Idling Problem... EVOMS should be able to help you out... And yes you can Remove EVOMS and Revert back to Factory Programing, EVOMS should be able to do that for you no Probs

 

Not wanting to hijack this thread but when you buy your car second hand how would you know whether it has been flashed or not?

Unless the PO tells you it was flashed, I don't think you could tell.

 

I didn't think it had to do with my idling issue. I mainly want to know if I can switch it back and forth if I want to.
