Default Engine Vibration when A/C is engaged

Morning all,
I am experiencing a mild engine vibration only when the a/c is active. My Indy suggested I start with the motor mounts since one seems to be broken. No codes or any other indications that another system is the root cause. , I thought it wise to consult the group before I start swapping parts. Any thoughts on the source of the vibrations and what I should check.

IF one of the motor mounts is obviously broken, I do not see it as "swapping" parts to fix a problem.

It is broken, you replace it. And most likely will fix the vibration.

Replace both if one is out as the other soon will be.

Also, try cleaning your maf and throttle body... The ecu knows to compensate for the extra ac load, but cannot if the maf/tb is fowler up.

Great suggestion. I hadn't thought of the MAF. Our Toyota really vibrates when we turn on the AC and I have tried everything mechanical- simple cleaning may do the trick. Darn thing is a CPO as well, but the stealer is useless.

So, the next question is should I replace with stock or aftermarket? I will not track the car, so I'm leaning towards stock replacement from pelican. Thoughts????

It is not likely the MAF - the MAF is hardly used at idle. You can unplug temporarily to be sure.
More likely a dirty throttle body.

Will give it a cleaning today before I purchase parts. Who knows, I am not 100% sold on the "bad" engine mount idea from my Indy. Is there a definitive test or visual inspection for a failed or failing engine mount?

Look at the car from the rear. If one of the tailpipes is 1/2-3/4" lower than the other the engine mount in that side is probably bad.

I'm ready to pull the trigger on engine mounts but need suggestions on a few things. Should I replace with stock or upgrade to something better? and where should I purchase? Suncoast, Pelican? No plans to track the car if that helps with suggestions.

Thanks
