There is only one nut holding the whole thing together. When I was 24, and 25, and 26, I was the same nut. The good news is that you never waste any time with nothing to do.

OK - back in control...Man Ed - I am really amazed, there is NO WAY I could take on a project like that, I would have a garage full of parts and none of them would fit, then the whole re-sell and re-buy...it would take a lifetime to sort it out...

I have a co-worker that buys cars and rebuilds them in a really short time, I am always amazed how anyone can do it...best of luck and keep working till you get there

We're looking at Arctic Silver Metallic or an off white that has a slight tint of grey. Saw the off white at the Porsche swap meet and the wifey really liked the color. We did see an air cooled that had an almost Vesuvio Metallic color!

Move? There's a little rust near the pedals but good elsewhere on the pan.

The original color was signal orange, but I'm not going to be doing that one. Paint is pretty far ahead. I'm sure my opinion will change for or five times.

SC motor! I'm dreaming twin plug 3.4 like Hughes car, but will most likely want to get an engine in soon and live with a 3.0 or 3.2.

very nice dog pic BTW

isnt it amazing how much smaller the "new" car is compared to your old one...my garage has WAY more space then before. What are some of youe son's thoughts... is he excited? does he have some plans, ideas....what a great way to gain respect for your car....build it!

awesome Ed
