Wow All of those look better then my ash tray delete. How did you get the black grommet thing off? It seems like it is glued on mine or something?? Below are before and after pics.

Guys, bumping this thread... any tips for unhooking the window switches (front) or blanks (rear)? I have the torx screws removed and have the ashtray up and out - want to install my new ashtray delete, and just want to make sure I don't bust anything.

Slide a flat screwdriver below the switch from underneath and bend inwards towards the switch. The bottom part of the switch will pop out and away, then the top should follow.

Clarification. Bend the screwdriver handle in towards the switch, the business flat end of the screwdriver away from the switch. It doesn't take that much force and it should pop out.
