Default Tonneau Cover

Does anyone make a Tonneau style cover for the 996 Cabs, so you can leave the top down and keep the interior cool? Thanks.

I purchased a Tyvek cover that covers from the front windshield to the rear window . on ebay, try searching for pop top sunshade, and pm the seller on 996 fitment. I use it whenever the car is parked in the sun, rain or shine. it definitely keeps the interior cooler than just the front windshield shades. and I have noticed on a few other 996's, due to age and sun exposure, the interior bits age and deteriorate considerably.
As an added benefit, it definitely protects the cab top since my car is parked outdoors for extended periods .

I got a nice "Custom Fit Interior" cover from California car covers. I do not see it listed on the web site. It is like the one on the Miata in the pic.
They are in a catalog that just came in the mail.

Funny my 64 mgb tauna cover in the 70's was snap on. I can't see installing snapping points on a 911.

fpb111, the cover on the mustang is similar to the one I have ( held on by and covers the sideview mirrors) ,, but the Miata one looks good just as well.

There is a Rennlist member in my area who has designed a cover and is currently selling it online. Will check and get back to you on this.

Edit: Was given his website after another member gave me the link: http://www.coolzonecovers.com/

Ron (owner) is a Rennlist member.

The one I have has two "Velcro" straps ea for wipers and mirrors. Two elastic loops for door handles, and three ridges sewn into the rear that go under the engine cover. You need to open the engine cover to put it on and take it off so these also work as mild security.
It takes about 20 seconds to put on when I park. It would keep out sun, light mist and hides the shiny things from the crows.
