Default Spark Plug GAP:

I am ready to install a set of new Platinum spark plugs, but want to check the Gap.
What is the spark plug gap for a 2002 996 C2 Cab.
Anyone know of a online listing of tech data for 996's?

Also want to do an exhaust hack since they are out. Anyone know a good welder in Northern VA?

I leave tech data placards on any car or bike. You never know when you might be second guessing your memory elbow deep in filthy when digging for the info is plain dumb. The placards might still be on the car.

I don't trust pregapped plugs either. Also since I have gapped plugs hundreds of times since I'd tune before every weekend in school there's the aspect of tight is right or loose tight or what the heck oh it goes in just right at that angle aspect of gapping.

If you are using the porsche plugs with 4 electorodes to gap per plug then yah I'd say just screw it if they seem to be right.

Pay good attention to what you read.

PS I lived West Springfield early 70's.
