So what do you guys suggest on tire sizes? I am thinking 235/40/18 and 285/30/18 on Sumis

Are you sure these weren't wheels Ed bought for himself, but would't fit his current AC Porsche? Kudos Ed for being such a giving guy.

me do have some new parts though... a box arrived yesterday with some long metal rods inside

I'm not sure if those sidewall profilesof 40 and 30 are standard for 18" since I've always had 19". But it does seem odd to have a difference of 10 unlike the 35 and 30 I'm running which is standard for 19". Since you aren't a C4 that's good but I'm not sure if those numbers are trouble for speedometer and performance. I was thinking 40 and 35 were standard but the current 911 models are 40 front and rear.

Going with 225/40/18 and 285/30/18. I was on dilema on fronts but since I have 7.5 front I should just stay with that. I currently have 8 front & 10 Rear on 18s and have same set up.

Ed is genuine DUDE! Still haven't installed the seats he helped me with though. Been accumulating parts.....BK harness bar, harnesses, sub mounts and brackets. Need a few more parts before I take it on.
