Default New owner, work in progress (parts for sale/trade) *updated

It took me a year of research but I finally pulled the trigger on a black on black 2002 996 cab with 58k miles. I got a PPI from Black Forest in San Diego and the car was clean.

Mods the car came with:
-GT2 replica fiberglass wing
-Turbo bumper covers
-EVOMS intake, headers, mufflers and ECU tune
-BBS RS-GT gunmetal wheels.

What I'm planning on doing: 1) sell the wheels so that I can buy cheaper wheels and do a clutch/IMS/RMS with the money. *COMPLETED 2) Sell the wing and go back to stock. 3) Lower the car. *COMPLETED

For Sale/Trade:

BBS wheels. Asking $3700 OBO.
Here is a quote from Tire Rack.
2 18x8 BBS RS-GT $1,740.00
2 18x10 BBS RS-GT $1,880.00
2 225/40R18 Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 $438.00
2 285/30R18 Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD08 $638.00
(I have the AD07s.)
Total: $4696
Wheels excellent condition. Tires have 80% tread and were the original tires mounted. *NEW PRICE $3300

GT2 replica wing painted black. Very good condition. Looking to trade for stock motorized deck lid in black. I would like to trade + $500. I have an extra top piece that can be thrown in for $200 (see pictures). *BOTH SOLD*

Stock front bumper. No major scratches or dents. *NEW PRICE $400

Stock 17" wheels professionally painted a metallic black paint. I was told the paint job cost $700. *NEW PRICE $700.

What I'm looking for to buy/trade:
-Focal 100KRS/100KR component speakers
-Black stock deck lid complete with motor
-PSS9
-Aluminum/Carbon handbrake and shifter *PURCHASED
-High quality white gauges (not eBay ones. NR Auto or similar)
-Aluminum gauge rings

Everything is negotiable.

Thats it for now. I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section. I hope to participate more on the forums now that I actually own a P-car.

yeah welcome.

But uhhm well i think your prices are inflated...
Lets put it this way, if you wanted to buy something like the items you've got would you buy from someone asking as much as you are... hell no just look at your trade with $...

I have a decklid with everything, would have given it to ya just pay shipping, but you'd probably ask me to pay you for giving it to ya for free

Tons of good people here to help each other out but if ya come in like a used car salesman I don't think you'll get far.

No not the best the first impression, don't think there'll be a big welcome wagon pulling through here, but then again, I'm crazy...

I have a great OEM decklid that I can sell you for $600.00 and you can still keep the GT2 wing to sell later.

Nice cab Why are you selling the BBS wheels? Getting bigger ones?
For the wheels price is not far off? IMO
I think those are 3-piece split rims?

Welcome to rennlist. The BBS wheels are the real deal. I think they would look great with spacers and a lower suspension. What do you plan to replace them with? Im not an aftermarket wheel guy but BBS is quality IMO. The 17" factory wheels are priced way too high. Most people run 18s on thier 996. That being said become a member and good luck converting your parts cash.

Thanks for the input. What are more reasonable prices? Like I said, I'm flexible.

I just scheduled my clutch/IMS/RMS job. I'm getting everything done next week. I'm going with the LN Engineering IMS and Sachs clutch kit. Any other parts I should change while I'm doing this job other than flywheel bolts?
I'm really excited because I can't really enjoy the car until this is done. It's worth the peace of mind IMO. A new engine would be very painful.

Since I have the EVOMS intake, do I have to worry about rain? The air filter isn't enclosed.

Thanks in advance.

First, Welcome.

Second, you must become a member to sell anything. This thread will be closed if you don't. Just sayin'

GLWS.
