Default Touch Up Paint

I went to wash my car today and low and behold I hit the mirror with the spray wand... Put a little chip in the paint and I need to order some touch up paint. I went to paintscratch.com with no luck finding my paint. Paint code is L555 EE. Anyone know what direction to point me in?

dr colorchip. Follow the directions - it works well. http://www.drcolorchip.com/

Don't look at the option code sticker for you paint, pull down the carpet on the driver side "frunk". You will see a metal plate with the real paint color code and the name (in german).

Look in your spare tire well, see if the touch up paint that came with the car is in there (that is where mine was). It will also have the "REAL" paint code on the bottle. (Don't use it though).

or go to the local Autobody shop supplier (ask the local shops who they get their paint from) and have them mix you up a pint.

Same here. color didn't match. I also tried automotivetouchup and was happy with the results.

Huge fan of Dr. Paint Chip when the defect is truly a chip or a clean scratch. I haven't found a touch up that works well on a rash/scuff.

Had pretty good luck with touch up on all colors except Artic Silver -- I thought I was just doing a poor job but then noticed that several touch-up companies warn that silver metallics are notriously difficult to repair.

+1 on Paint scratch.com. I have bought from them in the past and been very happy with the quality of the match. If you do the touch-up correctly you will have a hard time finding it afterwards.

If the scuff hasn't gone past the clear coat layer, use clear coat touch up, slightly overfill, then 4000 grit wet-sand until smooth, followed by rubbing compound. It looks scary after the wet sand, but as good as new after the polish.

Dr. Colorchip worked well for me. I have used it on at least 10 little nicks in the past year.
