for me the hack was significantly louder outside but not so much inside...in fact I often couldnt tell much differance just cruising about - then would hit some enclosed area and go - HOLY CRAP, those sound nice!
I haven't yet heard mine except from the drivers seat so I need to go thru the express lane in Seattle or give it some wellie down 5th Avenue.....
