So you guys are saying that this doesn't look good... Personally I think it looks way better than the aerokit taco.
It looks OK, but somehow the 997 body's (somewhat subtle) differences back there can pull it off.
And I'm not biased toward a yellow MKI Aero car in any way either. I just like tacos a whole whole lot.
I say do what you want and get what you like. I happen to like the taco - I had one on a 996 C4 and I think it looked great. Also when it came time to sell, I was able to unload it super quick because it was not your every day 996. Granted, some knucklehead bought it sight unseen, no PPI, but point is it moved quick.

Varun, the RS wing looks good on your car... I would be putting the cup wing on my car if it was allowed in the class I run... the Taco wing is just goofy looking!

BTW, how did the cage install turn out?
Hi Chris,
That's not my car though! I'm still debating whether or not to add a wing. I'm concerned because that wing is actually functional, so I'm sure I'd need to add aero on the front end to balance things out.
The roll bar went in really well, after we welded 3/4'' thick chunks of steel to the floor of the car. I'll email you a couple of pics soon(sorry never got around to it!).
Any of the wings you add to the car will need a front splitter to balance the car out. especially on track.
Glad to hear you got the roll bar installed and are happy with the final product. I hope that you make it out to WG this season so we can visit.
