Oh horse ****. I don't event think a blower can get a 3.4 to those levels at least not for long....

I have X51 headers to Fabspeed's X pipe to open pipes, GIAC's flash, and a few more tricks and the most I've ever dyno'd at was 282 at Miller which is 4500 fsw. At sea level I was 272 so allow me to be the first to call BS.....

Only because he posted the car for sale making a unrealistic HP claim. If he was just bragging I wouldn't give a hoot, but the Rennlist community deserves better than this drivel....

I am sorry for the missunderstandment. The bhp is to the krank not to the tires. It puts down roughly 305 to the wheels and this is according to champion motorsport. I just drove the car this weekend and was asked by the owner if I could sell it due to his non existent computer skills. He wants $60000 OBO. Again I am sorry for the BHP misshab. The gearbox is brand new and done by PMNS and champion motorsport. I usually run 997 cup cars but I felt very good in the car and it is by no means a slow car. The car has various class wins in PCA PBOC NASA ans SCCA, and always finishes in the top 15% of the field.

veit-

Thanks for sorting out the missing hp. I do want to point out, though, that your first post said you want to sell "my 1999 996 racecar."
Your last post indicated that you were posting the car for sale for an owner with no computer skils.
It might make sense to clarify your relationship to the owner, if you are not the owner.
As you are now aware, Rennlist is a no BS zone..........

GLWS. I am a lowly newbie, but the car you are offering for sale sures looks like a screamer.

He said 356hp at the crank, not the wheels.

Turn your kids loose with grayons and you too can have a cool looking car

The kids would love sporting their art cruising on the weekend. I imagine their has to some sort of soft wax grayon than would make doing it fun and good for the car.
