Default How to remove tiptronic buttons?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the tiptronic buttons on the steering wheel? I am assuming that they just snap out, but after my door panel removal fun, I have learned not to take 996 disassembly for granted.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Tom

Assuming you had the air bag removed already (for cosmetic purpose). Use a flat head screw driver, slide underneath the button and pry it off. It probably take you 2 seconds for each side
Good luck,

Good luck,
Can the buttons be removed without removing the airbag? Thanks

Yes, but you need something with an "L" shape that you can slide the other end (shorter) underneath of the button without touching the air bag.
