Default Spark Plug replacement tips

I currently have my mufflers out to be modified by Fister. While they're out of the way, it seems like a good time to replace the sparkplugs on my 02 C2. Does anybody have a good video or write up they can recommend?

Renntech.org has it posted in the DIY section.

You need a few extensions, u-joint, sockets and lots of patience. A small flat head screw driver is good to help remove the clips that attach the coilpacks to the wire.

With the mufflers out, it should be easier. I did mine with the mufflers in place; not fun.

Check the coil packs while you are in there. If any are cracked, I would replace all of them. The plastic gets brittle for the heat and because they are also exposed to moisture since they are on the bottom part of the engine.

You will need a 5mm hex to remove the coils. One of those mini ratcheting hex tools works great in the tight spot. Also a 16 degree (I believe) articulating magnetic spark plug extension set is a must in my opinion. I think this is the set I bought which made the job very easy: http://www.buzzillions.com/reviews/k...et-set-reviews

Do it while you have the cans off.
