Yah 6 of one half a dozen of the other. Considering when shifting the pdk might be better since there is no real loss due to shift time. When accelerating a quick out and back into manual mode upshifts one gear. Sown shifting generally the you are setting up the turns gear before letting off the brake and comencing the acceleration portion of the turn.
Of course 6 speeds are more of a tool/hoot but I'm sure with a proper application of the PDK then it would be better. Why not make the pdk a more race set up like a forward and back to shift? I guess ask Porsche if they'd like to be the company that kills all the manual transmission companies around the world. But there is always the throttle management between gears that get most of us liking the 6 speeds.
