Can you say Dot-com era?! These cars were flying off the showrooms.

Keep in mind that the base price for a 2000 C4 was $82k. With yards and yard of leather, carbon fiber, Tip, PSM, PCM1 and a bunch of other options, it adds up really quick...

I would love to see the option-specific pricing. A guy at the factory told me once that the x-code options were huge-margin money makers for Porsche.

Literally, nearly every interior piece on my car is covered in leather- even the ignition switch ring and all the air vents. I wish that it had the x51, however...

Very nicely optioned as a sports car should be. These are all the options that you really need! Your 996 is equipped nearly the same as my last 993 C2. The Locking differential 40 % is fantastic. IIRC, the M222 option is a carryover from the 993 ABD option, which my car also had. I have sport seat envy!

 

It looks like your car is not "sporting" the factory wheels it came with. Your car (in your pics) has sport design wheels not Sport classic II wheels.

The Sport design wheels are XRL

 

i have new condition sport seats for sale locally :-) heated too!

 

Hmmm...I thought these were the factory wheels. Any way, right now I have 17 inch after market turbo twist look wheels with snow tires for the winter. They look really nice and seem similar to other factory wheels I see when I post "18-inch Sport Classic II wheel" into google and look at the pictures.
