Default PCA 911 GTS Raffle

Well the headlines read!

" SOLD OUT! PCA Member Raffle - 2011 911 Carrera GTS! "
" Winner Announced: December 17, 2010 "

I just added December 17 to the outlook calendar so I'll go back to the website and check if they posted the winners' name.

I received a confirmation last week. I'm in too! I was wondering if they were going to sell them all.

I guess your buying 2000 tickets rolled them over the top.

How as your confirmation? Sent my check in a week or two ago but don't recall and letter or email. Maybe I missed or deleted the confirmation.

Goos luck with the spinning wheel.

I received an email confirmation only. It took about two weeks for them to process mine. I thought it was going to be dumped into my spam folder, but it actually went into my regular one.

I guess your buying 2000 tickets rolled them over the top.
Hmm. 2000 tickets at $50 each. Better odds to just order the C GTS at the dealership.

How are they going to ship it to Hawaii?

I don't know how PCA would but Matson Lines containers and american international cargo an air cargo company ship cars in and out of Hawaii. If I would win I'd find time to go over there and get the car and ship it back or leave it in Portland with my sister. Or ship the car here and ship the 996 to Portland. Cheaper to just leave the GTS in Portland

Worrying about how to ship your new GTS would be a good problem. The extra $25K will surely help!

Anyone know the actual mechanics of the drawing? For example, is it a physical or computerized drawing of the entry stub?

There's a place on the stub to indicate how many entries you want. If you write down "2" and include the check for $100, are you really increasing your chances any?

I never read anythingg of that facts of how they handle the stubs. I would think the PCA after receiving the purchase stubs makes uniform entry tabs to be used in the hopper. I'd think the each unit of entry wold have its own tab. The size of the tabs I'd think would be smaller than the actual entry filled out and mailed in helping make the tunbling and drawing the winner a less cluster affair. 6,500 entry's.

#14. The winner will be selected at a random drawing from all eligible entries to be conducted at 101 Marietta Street, Suite 3100, Atlanta, Georgia 30303 on
December 7, at 2:00 o'clock p.m., by an independent judge whose decision shall be final and binding in all respects. The winning entry will be drawn from
a container in which all eligible entry stubs purchased for the drawing will be mixed. Each entry stub will have an equal chance of being drawn.

Here's the location for the drawing.

I wonder if the forum is going to have the GTS mixed with the plain 997 or the GT3/GT2 section.

Next car up for raffle is a restored 911T.

Sent my money in the day I received the entry form and never received a confirmation or check returned. Check hasn't cleared either. WTF. Hoping a Rennlister is fortunate enough to collect the car.

Yah/jah tomorrow the winner is announced. Somebody over there read my email to have a b instead of 6 for some reason. We all hope we win.

Good luck. I'm sure if a forum person wins he or she might never hear the end of being a lucky dog.

I don't know but some t-mobile broad that called behind a 1-877 number had me wondering if I was getting a call to tell me I won. A one question survey then trying to sell me stuff was all I got. The usual treatment. Then the plan at t-mobile is for me to call back the same number that had me excited if I like the 50 off for a new phone. Yah I got screwed and stuck with the corperate salesmen front men instead of winning.
