Default Ready for winter...

Put on last Tues. hoping for colder temps so the Mtns. can make new snow, or better yet, have some natural snow. Skis are waxed and tuned and ready to go, just like my 996.

Nice Steve... the ONLY worry in the snow is sanded roads and snow depth... and salt... maybe mud inside, and be careful not to scratch it when putting skis in and out, and dont park near SUV kid haulers with the flinging poles, and paying for Premium at the pass, and rinse it off when home, and put it away after a quick drying of the brakes, and keep fresh CD's in the (OH wait, do you have a CD holder er a cubby?)

anyhow, that's the ONLY worry

3 days of skiing in a row, I am one tired/sore OLD MAN !

Good for you Ed, 3 days already. Once I take my skis and boots and misc. gear, I leave it at the Mtn. for the season. I have a locker on slope so hauling equipment back and forth isn't an issue.Don't have a CD, but usually include my ipod for the ride.

just to tease - and because its rare in WA. we had about 4 inches of the fluff on top of our ususal mash potato crap yesterday....it was heaven!

40 minutes from my home is a low pass (3000ft) with 4 ski "places" (hard to call them resorts because they suck crap!) but its close and cheap and great for the kids - we have seasons passes to all 4 (about 20 + chairs all together) and plan to wear out the pavement between here and there this winter
Skied Friday, Saturday and Sunday Living on Advil today !!

P-cars and snow tires go well together during the winter months. I've got 16 days on the slopes so far, but we start our season a bit earlier than most. I haven't been sore yet, but I have also yet to wreck and at 50+ I just don't heal like I used to.

I've got my first series of races coming up this weekend, so there's no time like the present to prepare! I might not get 100 days in this year, but I should do at least 75-80 days...let it snow!!

Bridgestone Blizzak LM-22 (maybe 25)??? They look really familiar and I love mine... 4 extra Pcar months of enjoyment per annum.
