Thanks everyone...like I said Im excited, scared and nervous all at the sametime and thats besides running around preparing the house for them. Wife is starting to get big so my work is beginning to double.

The car is lowered....im selling/trading the saab and porsche for a 2011 Subaru STi sedan...so Im giving in a bit but will still have something fun. even though it kills me to sell...finally have the car where I want ...but its worth it. If its worth it to anyone...any positive referrals will have a nice cash reward

This is where it gets cool.......my wife went to the dealership without me knowing and ordered me the car...how cool is she....definately a keeper

Those STis are quite nice, a friend of mine just picked one up. I don't think that's much of a downgrade.

Not a downgrade but...not a porsche. I had an 05 STi and was super happy with it...two baby seats will look great in the back

Congrats on the soon to be new arrivals! Sorry about the PCar though......

Now.......I'm a twin (2 minutes older so that makes me smarter!). My brother and I are paternal twins....after 12 months start to dress them different. Don't dress them alike! It was hard growing up always dressed in the same style but different colors. Also back when I was born they did not have the imaging that they have today. Twins were a complete surprise for my parents. My Dad left the hospital and went straight to the tavern.

Im a twin as well.... 13 minutes younger. Congrats and good luck. From what ive heard my brother and i were a handfull. Now, my brother actually sells Subarus. The new STI is a sweet ride, but you know that already. All you need now is some Recaro baby seats! Nice looking car by the way.... GLWTS

Big congratulations!

So your wife went to the Subie dealer and ordered you a new STI? She is definately a keeper! I'm surprised she didn't opt for the 5 door. I tend to like the 5 door look better but to each his own.

The wife and I are getting ready to start a family soon as well. Fortunately the Speed6 will accomodate kids and I can keep the C2.

Your car looks great. GLWTS!

Congratulations!!

I had a daughter two years ago and sold my 996 a year after I had her. The simple truth was that I never really drove the Porsche anymore. Before we had our daughter we used to take the car out for nice drives along Highway 1 on the weekends etc but afterwards the only real chance for me to drive it was on my own. As much as I loved my 996, I would much rather spend time with my daughter so I got rid of it. Miss the p-car once in a while but not terribly. I'm sure there will be a time and place later when I can enjoy a p-car with my daughter.

As some other guys said....SLEEP NOW! Even with one kid the first 6 months are wonderful but very short on sleep. I can only imagine what it would be like with twins!

Bought my 968 from a guy who's wife was pregnant with twins....As the father of twins myself....I'd keep the porsche.

That is one of the best early 996s I've seen. Boy is he going to miss it......I give him a year before he starts looking for a new one ... GT3?
