Default Am I The Only One?

Am I the only one, really, who much prefers the elegant looks of the narrow regular body over the turbo or more ridiclous "turbo looks" boy racer gaping holes in the front bumper and out of proportion rear quarters with multiple slots like on the Russian submarine?

Am I alone in my sillyness??

I think so, yes.

I think the C4S is the best looking of the bunch! It has the lower stance and wider hips of the turbo, but doesn't have the intakes on the sides and the spoiler on the back to break up the lines.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I think both are elegant in their own way

I gotta say, I think I am with you. i was looking at a turbo the other day and I have to say i liked the smooth body of my areo much better. But I am still not totally desided.

Sooo, I am not alone after all...

The front is more offending on the wide body style then the rear by the way so all the guys adoring huge bottom might have some excuse IMO.

But the gaping holes in the front fender are maybe needed for cooling but they ruin clean, smooth and elegant front bumper of classic 911.

The C4S is widely recognized as the best looking 996. (OKAY, I'm biased!)

The best ode to its beauty is Sigfus' pages on his car:

Go take a look, and maybe it will make you a believer!

I certainly don't consider the front bumper to be offensive...

Unfortunately you're not, and it never ceases to amaze me the level of insecurity with some Porsche owners. Why do you have to put down one version of the 911 just to justify your preferences?
FYI: All 911 variants appeal to me.
