Anyone spare a orange cap?
Been reading all the posts about the orange cap and sounds simple and fun. (And who wouldn't want more growl for free or close to it?)
Does anyone have an extra they can spare? I too did a search for Niagra and couldn't find anything.
Thanks.

I'm clueless...how much would an orange cap cost if you bought a new one at retail?

Probably not much, but few people (including me) seem to know where they can be purchased in a lot of one. I've got one around here someplace...maybe I'll try putting it in this weekend.

I thought it had been decided that Mod was a definite NO.
eg.: backfires and possible dirt / air leak.

Orange cap goes in the air box. It covers the small tube opening to the air box which is there "to quite" the air in take.

Ebay
Entire kit by schnell is 109.00. It has the silicone tube and the block off cap for the hemholtz resonator. It does nothing... sound not noticible and performance, I don't think it does much. Want better sound for less look at Darin Fister's mufflers. The mufflers are just a bit more and it sounds great.

+1 on using the Gillette cap. That is, the cap off from a can of Gillette shave cream.
Sounds a bit louder but can't say I felt any difference in the drive.
